GBR 21

Discover the precision of Differencial GPS with the new GARMIN GBR 21. The GBR 21 receives Selective Availability and atmospheric corrections for GARMIN GPS units so you can take full advantage of 5-10 meter GPS accuracy.

Whether you're navigating through a crowded channel, finding your way to an important fishing spot or pinpointing a specific dive location, the GBR 21 can help you hit the spot time and again. Designed for convenient remote mounting, the GBR 21 is controlled right from your Differential-Ready GPS receiver with simple key commands.

Differential GPS corrections are broascast by United States Coast Guard and IALA (Internationnal Association of Lighthouse Authorities) beacons free of charge to mariners. These signals provide information on satellite status and health in addition to the location, frequency and status of the beacon transmitter. The GBR 21 quickly decodes this information for use by your GARMIN GPS receiver, correcting for Selective Availability and atmospheric errors.

The GARMIN GBR 21 gives you access to the most accurate from of GPS navigation, with potential for 5-meter precision. The GARMIN GBR 21 even includes a handy reference card listing both active and planned beacons, noting their position and frequency.
