Measurements are fast and easy with one-hand operation, an easy-to-use backlit display, low battery indicator, automatic push-button calibration, and a weighted, quick-sinking probe. The YSI 550 DO has a built-in calibration chamber, direct salinity, and altitude compensation. The instrument provides simultaneously readings of oxygen and temperature. Dissolved oxygen readings are automatically compensated for temperature.

YSI 559 Replacement Dissolved Oxygen electrode modules enable quick changes in the field. Simply detach the safety cap, then unscrew and replace the DO electrode. It's fast, easy, and requires no training.
