Flexibility and precision

The YSI 4600 is a precision thermometer for use with standard YSI 400 Series Interchangeable Probes over the wide range of -40 to 150C. It's ideal for applications requiring system accuracy and flexibility.

The instrument offers high accuracy, 0.015C, from 0 to 50C; system accuracy is 0.115C with over 20 styles of YSI 400 Series Probes.

Higher accuracy with interchangeable probes

The YSI 4610 offers extermely high system accuracy when you use the YSI interchangeable probes that we test and calibrate just for this thermometer. System accuracy is0.05C from 20 to 50C with three special probes - a catheter probe, a vinyl tip generate-purpose probe and a stainless steel tubular probe. The temperature range is 0 to 70C.

Transfer standard

The YSI 4600S offers metrology-level accuracy over a range you define. We calibrate your unit at up to four points from 10 to 50C, along with a YSI 400 Series Probe appropriate for your application. This gives you the highest accuracy,0.025C, and NIST traceability(National Institute os Standards and Technology).

About calibration

We provide every YSI temperature product with a Certificate of Traceability, indicating that it was calibrated during manufacture with standard traceable to the National Intitute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This is made possible by the YSI Metrology Laboratory, an internationally recognized temperature laboratory equipped with advanced temperature standards.
