 The
JATM Model ultrasonic Seive Shaker is a superior sieving instrument
especially suited for research and quality assurance applications.
Using specially designed 3" (75mm) diameter acrylic-framed sieves
and a patented oscillating air column, the ultrasonic Seive Shaker
achieves dry, fine particle separations over the range of 3 micrometres
to 5,660 micrometres. The oscillating air column causes no screen
wear nor particle attrition as is frequently seen on other types of
screening equipment.This unit handles dry materials in powdered, granular or pellet form. Practical separation of particles can be accomplished quickly - in less that 10 seconds under favorable conditions, freeing up technicians for other projects. Testing times can be cut by up to 90% compared to other methods. The JATM Model ultrasonic Seive Shaker offers the greatest advantage when sieving for accuracy and consistency with "difficult" materials. Many previously "impossible" fine particle size analyses can now be successfully performed on dry powders. Because of the unique operating principle, the efficiencies normally seen only with wet sieving can now be obtained with dry powders. Key points
Quality Assurance in Manufacturing The unit is virtually maintenance-free, with no need for periodic adjustments or recalibration. Each ultrasonic Seive Shaker is shipped with a one-year limited warranty, covering parts and workmanship. Prior to shipping, each unit is run for a minimum of four hours to assure optimum performance upon delivery. The Model ultrasonic Seive Shaker is listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.® The JATM Model ultrasonic Seive Shaker is calibrated at the factory to obtain reproducible test results at the "required" power level...a powerful analytical testing tool. Both the power input and the operating time interval can be adjusted for different sieving conditions. Further, our service department can assist in providing everything from wiring diagrams to actual repair services on all Sonic Sifter Separators... even for units purchased 20 years ago.
