Boekel Tissue Flotation Baths elliminate wrinkles and distortion during the preparation of paraffin embedded tissue sections. With two baths to select from, you can choose the model with the features to best suit your budget.

Illuminated Tissue Baths
Boekel offers two Illuminated Tissue Flotation Water Baths. The combination of their illuminated black background with a transparent glass dish make specimens easier to see during progressing. As an added advantage, the dish on both models is easily removed for cleaning, fast water changes or sterilization. Other convenience feature are also incorporated in our illuminated baths to make your tissue preps easier.

Model 145950
Tissue Flotation Bath Model 145950 has microprocessor controlled temperature selection, an easy to read LCD display, and an independant analog safety thermostat to ensure temperature stability. After specimens are mounted on slides, you can lay them on the Specimen Orienter Block preset at approximately 55°C to quickly smooth wrinkled sections, or on the Slide Dryer Block which is preset to 40°C Orienter Block dimensions are approximately 5.1 cm x 5.1 cm (2" x 2") while Dryer Block is 5.1 cm, x 12.7 cm (2" x 5"). Constructed from stainless steel and finished with an attractive baked gray enamel finish to ensure long life.

Model 145700
Features analog temperature selection with an eaasy to see LCD temperature display. Illuminated well is made from aluminum that is coated withh a matte black epoxy finish. Bath body is stainless steel with an attractive baked gray enamel finish. Tissue Flotation Bath is supplied with removable Pyrex glass dish.
