| Available in two sizes, the Marcy-McCool Disc Pulverizers are designed for grinding virtually any material and is especially recommended for assay offices, metallurgical, soil and other commercial/industrial laboratories. |  |
The pulverizers can reduce 60 to 120 lbs. of quartz type material from 1/4" feed to 100 mesh in one hour. Grinding is performed between two 6-1/2" or 9-1/2" diameter heat-treated, cast iron discs. During operation, one disc remains stationary while the other revolves eccentrically as the feed material passes between the discs.
Accessories and options include a specially designed, fabricated steel, elevated pulverizer base assembly (shown in photo); drive motors to meet a large variety of available electrical characteristics, and hardened steel alloy discs (470 BHN).
