Accuracy takes to the field. AIR introduces the Hand-Held Digital Barometer/Altimeter. A revolutionary combination of small size, digital display, versatility, and high accuracy make it ideal for field measurements or as a portable pressure reference. The Hand-Held Barometer/Altimeter combines accurate pressure sensing with the power of microprocessor-based computations to provide instantaneous pressure and altitude readings.

Measurement with the touch of a button. Keypad controls provide access to the operating functions. Pressure or altitude may be displayed in a variety of units. The LCD display shows the output data and operating mode.

This instrument measures atmospheric pressure very accurately-ti within .015 in. Hg. Altitude is computed using the U.S. Standard Atmosphere. Known airport altimeter setting, benchmark altitude, or temperature can be entered to improve the altitude calculation.

Airport altimeter setting is computed and displayed based on an entered altitude. Changes in pressure or altitude can be continuously displayed. The device is temperature compensated over its operating temperature range.

Rugged, yet highly sensitive. AIR's patented dual-diaphragm pressure sensor has extremely low sensitive to shock, vibration, acceleration, and changes in orientation or temperature-yet features high sensitivity to pressure variations.
