Rad-MonitorTM Radiation/contamination
monitors feature the latest and most advanced design technology.
Built to provide years of reliable and Model SD10 is recommended for
laboratories using 125I. Instrument is supplied
with a high sensitivity scintillation probe for detecting
radiation/contamination from low energy gamma emitters such as
Iodine-125. The detector utilizes a high quality photomultiplier
tube coupled to a 1" x 2mm thick sodium iodide crystal with a
thin 1 mil (7mg/cm2) aluminum window. Model SD10
detects isotopes with energy levels from 10 keV to 1.5MeV. Also
suitable for thyroid monitoring of 125I uptake.
Efficiency to 125I is approximately 40 percent.
The Rad-MonitorTM Radiation Monitor
features a built-in battery charger which allows use of rechargeable
batters. Optional AC adapter is available for 110 VAC operation
and battery charging. Instruments are supplied with detector
probe, alkaline batteries, instruction manual and a two year limited
warranty.
