| The Micro-Deval is used to test the
resistance of fine/coarse aggregates to degradation by
abrasion. This testing of fine/coarse aggregates determines their abrasion loss in the presence of water and an abrasive charge. It furnishes information helpful in judging the suitability of fine/coarse aggregates subject to weathering and abrasive action when adequate information is not available. |
