Water resistant, portable relative humidity meter.
HI9160 is a heavy duty hygrometer in  rugged case, designed for the food industry. It has an easy to clean casing and provides high accuracy even under tough conditions without running the risk of damaging the circuitry or batteries.

Easy-to-operate
A single ON/OFF key, and a large, easy-to-read LCD make the HI9160 strainght forward to use by anyone, even non-technical personnel.

Battery error preventive system.
The HI9160 offers a long battery life and can be used for approximately 20 hours after the low voltage indicator has been displayed. The Battery Error Preventive System is then actived to shut off the display when low voltage could cause inaccurate readings, a frequent cause of problems with common hygrometers.

RH probe
Monitoring the Relative Humidity is crucial in areas such as food aging. Daily control must be accurate in order to prevent damage to food. The fast responding HI70604/2 probe has a 2 meter long (7') cable to access those hard-to-reach places. There is also a 5 meter (16.5') version available (hi70604/5). A perforated cap allows good air circulation while protecting the sensor. The RH probe can be detached and changed easily.

Accuracy
This meter is factory calibrated against an NIST standard.
