The new Digital Fiberoptic Refractometer is fast, easy to use, and
incorporates the latest cutting-edge fiberoptic sensor
technology.
Simply dip the end of the refractometer into a liquid
solution, press a button, and the powerful Motorola microprocessor quickly
displays a digital readout with computer precision. Automatic temperature
compensation insures that fluids read between 0°C and 50°C (32°F and
122°F) are measured accurately.
The large LCD display is
easy-to-read and removes the guessing associated with reading conventional
refractometers. Gone are the days of trying to adjust your eyeglasses,
while squinting into a small eyepiece, to determine where a fuzzy little
boundary line crosses tiny scale divisions.
Calibration is
automatic and does not require the use of special calibration solutions,
or tools. The DFR refractometer automatically calibrates itself to water
and is ready to use in seconds. No more screws to turn and nothing to
adjust.
