Bench Muffle Furances - Thermolyne

Electrically heated furnaces, made of top quality materials to assure long trouble-free service, come in a variety of models to fit most laboratory needs for temperatures from 2000¡ÆF (1093¡ÆC) to 2300¡ÆF (1260¡ÆC) and sizes to 9 cubic feet. Most units have wound coil heating elements embedded in a special proprietary refractory cement which distributes even heat and resists corrosion.

Most models have ceramic fiber insulation. Some models also include fire brick wall thickness from 4 1/2" to 6" and can be modified with ports for inert gas. With pilot light, Chrome-Alumel thermocouples and safety interlock door switches which stop the power when opened.

All doors open easily with one hand. Horizontal doors serve as placement trays during removal; vertical doors serve to protect the operator from excessive heat; and split vertical doors also allow for opening the bottom half for chamber inspection while the upper half remains cloed. Baked enamel finish. Electrical requirements are 240 V/1 Ph/50-60 Hz, 240 V/3 Ph/50-60 Hz. On some models, other electrical configurations asre available.
